Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) is one of the most proven investment strategies for volatile assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Instead of trying to time the market, you invest a fixed amount every month — buying more coins when prices are low and fewer when prices are high. Over time this smooths out your average purchase price.
Our DCA Simulator uses real historical price data from CoinGecko to show you exactly what your portfolio would be worth today if you had started investing any amount, on any date, in any cryptocurrency.
How it works
Select a cryptocurrency using the search box — we support Bitcoin, Ethereum, and thousands of altcoins. Enter your monthly investment amount in USD and choose a start date. The simulator fetches real historical monthly prices and calculates how many coins you would have accumulated each month at that price. Your total portfolio value is then calculated using today's live price.
The chart shows two lines: your total invested amount (a straight diagonal line) versus your actual portfolio value over time. When the portfolio line is above the invested line, you are in profit.
